Marisa is an experienced employment lawyer and litigator. Prior to starting Sugarman Law, Marisa practiced at the national employment firm Fisher & Phillips and served as a judicial law clerk the Honorable E. Clayton Scofield, III, United States Magistrate for the Northern District of Georgia where she worked almost exclusively on employment matters. She began her legal career in the Labor and Employment Group of Alston & Bird LLP. Marisa graduated from the Florida State University College of Law, cum laude, in 2002 and received her B.A. in English from Agnes Scott College in 1995.
